Abe and the entire Streamline Team were absolutely great to work with, from start to finish… At every turn they gave us a good, better, best option for all of our components and individual applications, constantly staying aware of our wishes and budget. With this project we added a home audio system, which was one of the best renovations we’ve made since moving in eight years ago. I’m a huge fan of Control4, even more so now than when I originally learned about its capabilities. I’m a “techy” who likes to tinker and do as much of the work as possible. Having said that, I didn’t do anything related to the install of my project, Streamline did everything timely and to my satisfaction. That was a year and a half ago, now I’m doing all the programming and having a blast tweaking it to my own personl preferences. That is just one of the benefits of the Control4 system. The programming part of it is pretty simple to learn and the capabilities are endless. Regardless of how much or little you wnat to be involved, the product offers solutions at every level. And the fact that I can give them access remotely allows for simple timely tweaks if need be. I’ll tell you a little about my project because these are some of the things I inquired about when I was considering Control4 as a solution: I have two cameras that monitor the perimeter of my house and one camera in our infants room. I can sit in my office and look in on my dughter during the day and have emails with pictures sent to me every time someone rings my doorbell or triggers my cameras. Yes, that’s complete overkill, but it gives you an idea of its capabilities. In my theater area, I have a single button to dim the lights and play a Blu-Ray DVD. When I pause the DVD, my lights ramp back up until I press play again. When I’m finished in the Theater I hit off, and it powers down my A/V equipment and gives me 2 minutes before all the lights completely shut off. If someone rings my door bell while watching TV, my camera takes a picture of them and sends it to the TV I’m viewing so I can decide whether I want to answer the door. My wife loves how simple it s to run all the equipment… that was critical when selecting a solution. I also have an iPAD and iPhone that gives my complete control f everything wirelessly. Lastly, I have a “Vacation” button that turns specified lights on and off at certain times to make it appear as if someone is home. I can log into my system remotely and adjust the temperature, lights or view my cameras. I could go on and on about the capabilities but hopefully I’ve given you a good idea of is possiblities. The only “con” I can think of is there isn’t a Panasonic camera that is infrared, yet. I’m sure there will be soon though. But you can always trigger a light to turn on when its night time…so there’s a way around that too. Streamline was great to work with and I’ve been recommending them to friends and anyone else who needs assistance. Dear Abe, I just wanted to let you know how helpful you were with the new construction of our house. This is the second house that we have built where we had sound distributed throughout the house. Our last house was done by Classic Stereo. Our builder recommended that I call you due to your on-going relationship together. I called Classic Stereo and asked them to provide a quote. I also call you at Streamline Systems and asked for a quote. You pulled through for me and provided everything that we discussed. Classic Stereo called me and said my paperwork was lost under a pile on someone’s desk and was it too late to provide a quote. Fortunately for me it was too late and they never gave me a quote which enabled me to work with you and Streamline Systems. You were also up for some new challenges. I saw a new product offered by Sonos that distributed sound throughout the house that is stored on a main home computer. All of my music is stored there and it seemed like the perfect application for us. The Sonos system is perfect for the family. The kids can find music very quickly and my wife can find the mute button pretty fast too. The system is very flexible and would work well in any modern home today. In a nutshell, I just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work and dedication you demonstrate in the custom audio/visual and home theater industry. You researched ways in which to make my ideas work and put them in motion in our house. It is no surprise to me that so many high quality builders, like Insignia Homes, partner with you and Streamline Systems for this type of work. In 2006 we moved into our new home built by Insignia Homes with high expectations. Now that it has been almost two years I can safely say my expectations have been met with few exceptions. I do want to point out that out of all of the subcontractors working for Insignia, Streamline Systems stands out as the company offering the highest value for the dollar as well as incredible follow up. I am not an electronically gifted person so I asked for a high end, yet simple use products, that is exactly what I received. However the icing on the cake was the follow up calls to make certain I was satisfied, that I understood all instruction that was delivered upon our move in, and that there were no frustrating issues present. I was contacted 2 months after move in, 6 months after move in, 12 months after move in and this day get a call from the owner Abe, just to make sure his products were standing up to my expectations. No other contractor that I have ever dealt with can stand up to the customer service I have received. I am not one to typically take the time to make recommendations, but in this case I would be remiss to not letting anyone in the market for high end electronics know about my experience with Streamline. Dear Streamline Systems: Though I have told you several times how pleased I am with the Epson home theater system you recently installed in our home, I also wanted to put my great satisfaction with the product and your service in writing. When I like a product and service as much as yours, I want to let the world know about them. In general, my husband and I feel our experience with you has been very positive. When I first expressed interest in the system, you gave us considerable time on two occasions to view the system at your site at times convenient for us; came to our home at our request without our firm commitment to buy; answered our many, sometimes repetitious, questions; and put together a package that fit our budget as well as our expectations. A few months passed between the time I received my original estimate and the time I made the ultimate commitment to buy. But you never pressured us to make the purchase. I also deeply appreciated the courtesy and professionalism of your installers and support staff. Because I have difficulty in using even a basic tape recorder, I especially appreciated their patience in teaching me how to use the system. On two extra occasions after the installation, your staff came to our home to help me master the accessing of the various options. I know that if I have any further questions, I only need to pick up the phone for answers and explanations: someone will walk me through the problem with the remote control in hand as has already been done more than once. Since I started enjoying its spectacular performance both as a T.V. and a C.D. player, I have not had a moment of regret in making this purchase. In fact, I often find myself saying to my husband: “What a worthwhile investment! What fantastic color! What sharp definition! What awesome sound! What a total viewing and audio experience! We should have done this sooner!” Already we have been wowed by the Christmas at Rockerfeller Center and other holiday programs, the Rose Bowl Parade, and the Super Bowl as well as by feature films.
